In most cases, yes! If you have Select Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, TriCare, UnitedHealthcare, or another major insurance, your vasectomy may be fully or partially covered. Ask one of our schedulers to check insurance coverage for you before your consult.

Not everyone who performs vasectomies is a urologist. In fact, our competitors in the area include nurse practitioners and family medicine doctors who, while trained in vasectomies, are not board certified urologists.
When you choose us, you choose a team of experienced reproductive health doctors who get it right: quickly, safely, and effectively. We’ve performed thousands of them (even correcting some surgeries done elsewhere.) -
Our urologists offer a limited number of Saturday appointments throughout the year, but most patients prefer to schedule on Fridays.
Choosing a Friday appointment—whether you take a full or half day off work—gives you the weekend to rest and recover. Many patients find that having those three days makes the recovery process more comfortable and convenient.

Please bring your preferred underwear or compression shorts. You will want to wear them until the swelling subsides.

Please shave your scrotum up to the base of your penis before the procedure. Eat a full meal before you come. Do no take any blood thinners such as Aspirin, ibuprofen, or Aleve 7 days before your procedure.
